Holy Father,

You woke me up very early today
And in the quiet of the morn
I wondered what You would say.

Then I heard the words of a song
Reminding me of Your faithfulness
And of Your patient love
I knew without a doubt
I was not alone.

No matter what I face
I could do so with Your grace.

No pain, no sorrow
No loss, or threat for tomorrow
Could separate me from what’s true.
All that I need is found in You.

Your joy is my strength.
Jesus, You are my peace.
You are the reservoir
Where my hope is released.

What a wonderful way
To start the day!
