Have you ever been overwhelmed by kindness
Halted by a river of smiles,
Where laughter and beautifully spoken words
Could be heard for miles?

Has your heart been so full of love and appreciation
You were silenced into humble contemplation?

How could such a moment be described
By words someone could say?
Surely a canvas, a song, or a poem
Should be created to adequately portray

All the joy and grief and reflective sighs
Of knowing someone cared to honor what you disguise

As living the best you can and sharing all you can
When all the while you were healing your soul
By serving and loving your fellow man.

There is a verse that says we reap what we sow
And I believe God gives us these moments so we will know
He sees us, He loves us, and sometimes…
This is how He shows us.

Enjoy the moment.

The true children of God are those who let God’s Spirit lead them.
