I chose a path to follow

The view was simply gorgeous

I quickly gained momentum

And sailed along my way.

The view ahead was compelling.

I accelerated towards my destination.

Just when I thought I had arrived

I hit walls of distractions and delay.

In my shock I turned to You.

I poured out my heart to You,

Expressing my confusion.

But all I got in return was silence and more delay.

I waited for an answer from You.

To my dismay, none came.

Then I realized Your answer was silence.

Your silence drew me back to Your way.
