When a nation prays together
What differences would we see?
There would be more love
And less focus on what separates you from me.

When a nation prays together
What would happen to each child?
There would be less violence
And more hopeful, cheerful smiles.

When a nation prays together,
How many prisons would seize to exist?
There would be fewer desperate people
And deeper understanding about the crimes they commit.

A praying nation would change more lives.
There would be more cause for hope, more evidence of peace.
The world would begin a transformation
The hunger and devastation of negligence would seize.

Today is the National Day of Prayer.
God hears and sees each need.
He will respond to our cry and act
When a nation prays and believe.

14 if My people who are called by My name put away their pride and pray, and look for My face, and turn from their sinful ways, then I will hear from heaven.
