Do you wonder
If He hears?
Does He listen
As you shed pain-filled tears?

Does He know
What you’re going through?
When will He show
Himself strong for you?

As you wait for the answers
To finally arrive
Let me give you this assurance
Your prayers are still alive.

The answer may be delayed
But He knows your name.
He knows what the answer is
And the blessing it contains.

All your prayers are captured
Heaven holds them all
Their aroma is sweet
To the One who hears your call.

So don’t stop praying
And lifting your praise
Your cry has reached heaven
The answer is on the way.
