Oh My Lord,

There was a sound.
It was loud, proud, and unbowed
That came from my lips.

It was all about me
What I could do, should do, would do
I left You out.

But You gently reminded me
That You are the One, the Sun, and none
Can compare to You.

Your love never fails
And we can trust, that You are just, and we must
Know You and Your ways.

You have a plan
To make things right, give us light, and You delight
When we seek to understand You.

That all our hope is found
With you, who are true, and will renew
Our strength.
