Peace is Possible

It’s easy to get bogged down with worry and anxiety. Our concern for our family, finances, job situation, school, etc., can leave us feeling stressed, overwhelned, and anxious. The enemy of our peace would have us believe that God doesn’t care–that we either deserve the misery of our situation or God’s too busy to care about us.

Don’t believe the lie.

God cares about us. And He has given us several scriptures that will comfort us as believers and give unbelievers hope–a reason to believe.

Psalm 55:22
Give all your cares to the Lord and He will give you strength. He will never let those who are right with Him be shaken.

1 Peter 5:7  Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you. (TLB)

Philippians 4:6-7
Do not worry. Learn to pray about everything. Give thanks to God as you ask Him for what you need. The peace of God is much greater than the human mind can understand. This peace will keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

So when life gets heavy let’s turn to the One who knows us and cares about us.

The next time we are tempted to worry or when we get overwhelmed, let’s remember that we can have peace again if we

Altar, and

Engage with worry and anxiety.

And be thankful that God cares and He has a solution.  If He wants our help, He will show us what to do. If He doesn’t, we can be assured that He will handle it because He loves us and cares about us.
